Maple's Story.

Yes, you read it right and yours truly typed it right. Maple's story. NOT Maple Story.
So who is Maple? Meet Maple.

Mewling tiger extraordinaire. Loves to jump. Prefers to chew on hands than her toys. Potty-trained. Age: 3 months.

Owner: Yours truly.

So what is Maple's story? Vet found her strayed from her litter and in need of deworming. Vet's friend who was in yours truly's RAG team (from another hall) decided to adopt her but then her parents said no. After post-rag celebration drinks, yours truly agreed to keep Maple. No, yours truly did not agree to keep her in a drunken state.

Somehow, yours truly always wondered how it would feel like to have a cat as a pet. Agreeably the expenses would be just as high as having a pet dog. The vaccinations, the diet, the health, etc. would be similar to that of Kaka, Lola, and Kiko. Yours truly likes her; a lot. What's even more special is that her every expense would be out of the money that yours truly earns from work.

Maybe yours truly should wait and revisit this post when Maple isn't a kitten anymore.

Oddly, when reviewing this post, yours truly realized that she was sent this way at a moment of need.

Occasional bursts.

Sometimes it feels better to be rid of this thing called emotions. To be specific, yours truly would like to erase this.. thing created that causes a person to develop tender feelings for another.

Thing, thing, go away,
Come again another day.

It is complicated when your heart wants something but logic tells you what you need.

It could also possibly be due to the rush of the last 3 days to complete the float for RAG that the emotions could overpower the mind. Recuperation is the best cure. However, it was worth it all - the cramps, the muscle aches, the pain of the surgery, the sleep deprivation, and the loneliness in a group.

Chingay 2012, here yours truly comes.
